When I consider what it means to be able to put what I 'see' down on canvas...I remember what it was like the very first time I picked up a paintbrush and the joy I felt in being able to create something on the blank surface. Once I was able to find resources to enabled me to learn the basic techniques and concepts of oil painting, I was free to reveal and render my own style and interpretation of subjects that I found the beauty and meaning in.

My work consists of original & commissioned oil paintings, with the focus on emphasizing color, texture, and form; thereby enhancing the natural beauty of the subject. I believe an integral part of being able to express your own vision, is to put your version down on canvas, paper...or other form of artistic expression.

~ Medium canvas, (approx 16" x 20" to 18" x 24") ~ $600

Full View Portrait:

~ Large canvas, (approx 24" x 30" to 24" x 36") ~ $800

Additional subjects in portrait:

~ 2nd subject add 50%

~ 3rd subject add additional 60%

~ 4th or more subjects add 60% each

YOUR GUARANTEE... My goal is for you to be completely happy and satisfied with your finished portrait. Although you are paying for my artistic representation of your photograph, I can recreate it very closely to the original, or less if you prefer it be in a more impressionist style. To do either, I will need a good quality photograph, that shows enough detail for me to work with...and the photo needs to be clear and not out of focus. I can leave out certain elements, but adding ones that are not present would need to be evaluated carefully, and it may or may not be able to be included in your portrait.
