Pricing for Dick Bobnick portraits are individualized based on a number of factors. Clients can choose full figure, partial figure or just head and upper shoulders views. The portrait can be traditional and classic, professional as in a business or executive pose, tasteful boudoir or classic pinup. Special backgrounds, montage groupings of one or several poses with one main head view and a supportive full figure pose or just a tonal background may be selected. All of these choices and selections carry a different fee. Size also is a major factor. The most popular image size falls in the range of 16 to 22 inches wide and 20 to 26 inches high. With matting and framing of 5 to 6 inches it results in a finished framed portrait of 28 to 36 inches. There are many variances within those ranges. Framing is not part of Dick's service but can be arranged based on his suggestions. Prices are all based on a detailed discussion between artist and client, in writing, and upon agreement a formal Artist's contract is provided covering all details and pricing. The average time frame from beginning the commission to finish is approximately two to three weeks. The assignment begins with a pencil layout for approval. Upon that approval color work begins. Upon completion an image is Emailed to the client for any possible minor revisions. One half of the agreed fee is paid upfront with final payment upon acceptance.
