GIULIANO SACCHERO
Giuliano Sacchero was born in Turin, Italy and started as an autodidact.
He created his first pieces using pastels on cardboard. He moves to Pinerolo and in 2005 a local art
gallery (Il Nobile Tarlo) sponsors his work for a year and makes him participate at Reggio Emilia
Art Fair. Two exhibitions follow, in Sestriere and Pinerolo, organized by the above art gallery with
the financial contribution of the Piedmont region.
In 2007 he is one of the finalists of the Celeste Prize and in 2008 he partecipates in Artissima with
“Italian Wave”.
He moves to Bologna.
In 2010 arrives second at the “Ilario Rossi Art Prize”. He starts collaborating with the WikiArte
Gallery in Bologna and participates in collective exhibitions organized by the gallery.
He moves to Rome in 2011.
In 2013 he works at the Istituto Comprensivo Statale di Istruzione in Vignanello (local primary
school) where he takes his research on color and gesture further through the observation of the
children he teaches to.
He is selected for the XXVVII Biennale dell'Umorismo nell'Arte di Tolentino exhibition.
One of his works has been chosen for the scenography in the film by Nanni Moretti “Mia Madre”.
He lives and works between Rome and Vignanello.
