Hi, I’m Joey Chan, a self-taught artist working with watercolor and photography to display everything sprightly and vigorous in our world. I aspire to brighten and invigorate people through my enthusiasm in art.

I had been trained to be an engineer, which is a fairly common ideal pursuit in my birthplace, Hong Kong. Art had never been linked me in my early part of life. Until, I moved to United State, I reassessed the values and goals I had for my last thirty two years. I signed up for some art, design and architecture classes at San Francisco and Berkeley. I was immediately inspired by my first drawing teacher and fascinated into the world of art. Therefore, I abandoned my calculator and helmet in favor of a palette of paints and brushes.

When I became a stay home mother, I made my goal to raise a family and art life together. I juggle between parenting and art creation full-time at home, because I desire to show every beautiful thing I saw to my child and everyone through my brushes and camera with praise and gratitude.

Please send me a High Resolution Digital File or Photo of You and Your love one (or Wildlife subjects too!) via EMAIL or by MAIL (I'll return to you after job done). I will create a watercolor portrait of them!

I do my very best to create a unique and stunning work for you. We can talk about details and your comments at certain stages of your portrait project. I will send a final image via email for your approval before I ship the completed artwork. If you don't feel happy enough with it once you see, I can keep trying until you're satisfied or I will return your money minus $50 materials fee.

I'm pleased to offer your artwork to life with the texture and depth of a stretched canvas print, premium canvas stretched on 3/4" x 3/4" stretcher wooden bars for additional $145 and 10 days production time. (Shipping charges to be confirmed upon request.)

U.S. : $10 for 2-3 days via USPS PRIORITY MAIL with Insurance and Tracking.

International: $25 for 3-5 days via USPS Express Mail with Insurance and Tracking.

for Portrait Size 18” x 24” or larger, Unframed. Packed in a protective clear bag sleeve and slightly rolled in a heavy duty 4" mailing tube.
